Marianna Moreno came to New Bedford from Guatemala in 2009 at the age of sixteen. She has been working at Bergie's Seafood for ten years. She worked in seafood processing until 2017 when she was promoted a position in the office as the Fresh Sales Associate.

I have always had the mindset that I don't want to learn just one thing. I want to learn everything and keep on learning...I have learned all of the jobs at Bergie's: peeling the fish, cutting the fish, working the machines.
